Windows 8 keyboard shortcuts

Knowing at least some of the Windows 8 keyboard shortcuts helps make your Windows 8 experience much more enjoyable. Try to memorize these top Windows 8 shortcut keys.

WINKEY 
to open the Start screen or switch to the Desktop (if open). 

 WINKEY + D 
opens the Windows Desktop.

WINKEY + Tab
  to show open apps.  

 WINKEY + Print screen 
to create a screenshot, which is automatically saved into your My Pictures folder.

WINKEY + ,
Peek at the Windows Desktop.

WINKEY + .
Snap a Windows App to the sides of the screen. Pressing it multiple times will switch between the right and left-hand side of the screen or unsnap the app.

Open Windows Narrator.

Open the Charms.
